Sales of the debut album are going briskly, we have now passed our halfway target to break even on all the production and launch costs. We are now taking bookings for gigs and William is already starting to write songs for the next album, his obsession with electric guitars is taking over and there will likely be no acoustics on the next album!

The album launch at Coburg Studios was a successful night - over 100 people crammed into the space to hear the seven piece Dogwooders put through their paces, and everything went remarkably well. A glass was smashed early on (essential for any proper party) and the next day the mops were out to clear up the red wine in the gallery space. Many thanks to John at Coburg Studios for renting us the space - visit them at Coburg Studios and while you are at check out the work of William's partner, Donna Barry.
12th April 2014
The album is mastered and CD duplication is starting - Alison has finalised artwork for the cover and we are going to be producing a very cool package, with a vinyl styled CD cover with an inner sleeve and record-style CD.
15th March 2014
The recording of the album is almost complete with only one bass part needing done due to unidentified pops and clicks sneaking in. William has recently taken delivery of a 1975 Fender F-15 acoustic guitar, purchased from a painter in Edinburgh who wants to concentrate on his landscape work and is giving up the six-string. This brings the total Dogwood stable of guitars to a healthy six acoustics.
We can perform in any combination from a duo up to a seven-piece band.
As well as performing our debut album we can also perform a huge amount of cover versions, and we are happy to perform for two hours or more at any kind of event.
We only take paid bookings, due to travel costs etc we cannot play for free unless it is for charity.
We have access to our own PA and all equipment so we can perform virtually anywhere.
Please contact us if you are interested in booking us for a live performance.
